Legal
Terms of Service
Effective 28 October 2026.
These Terms govern your use of danqna.com, its World of Warcraft addon, its Windows program, and related services (together, the Service). The Service is a free, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the law where you live to agree to these Terms and to have your personal information handled as described in our Privacy Notice. If you are younger than that, you may use the Service only where a parent or guardian has agreed for you.
2. Accounts
Give accurate registration details and keep your account secure. Your login email is private. Your username, display name and anything you choose to make public may be seen by others.
You are responsible for activity on your account and on the computers you have signed in. If you stop using a computer, sign it out in the program or remove it under Settings.
3. Free service and optional support
The Service is free. Privacy, sharing, uploads, characters, devices, comments and other features do not depend on payment or donation.
You may optionally support hosting and development through our Patreon page. A donation supports the fan project. It is not a purchase, and it gives no extra features, access, storage, priority, support, badge or other entitlement. Patreon has its own terms and privacy practices, and we do not need to link your Patreon membership to your account here.
We may set reasonable storage and rate limits, change features, or stop hosting. Where practical we will give notice and a chance to save your content first. Changes to the Service will never turn private content public.
4. The addon and its license
The addon can be downloaded free from danqna.com and its source is readable in the download. It is licensed for personal, non-commercial installation, inspection, backup and private modification under the license included with it.
Unless you have written permission from the copyright holder, you may not upload, mirror, rehost, publish, bundle, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the addon or a modified copy. The license in the addon package controls if this summary differs from it.
5. Your content and who can see it
You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us the limited rights we need to receive, store, process, resize, encrypt, back up, check, transmit and display it as your settings direct, and to run, protect and improve the Service.
Public entries can be seen by anyone, without an account. Private entries are for you and the accounts you share them with. Private does not mean exempt from automated safety checks, or from access by authorized people when reasonably necessary to run the Service, investigate abuse, answer a support request or comply with the law.
Please check an entry's visibility before you submit it. We will not turn private content public because of a limit, a restriction on your account, or whether you donate.
6. What you may not post
We want to allow wide creative and roleplaying freedom, but the Service must obey the law and the rules of the providers that keep it running. Some content may be restricted even where it is lawful in your country.
You may not use the Service to upload, publish, share, request, promote or help others to:
- Post pornography or adult material made for sexual gratification.
- Post sexual services, sexual exploitation, intimate images shared without consent, or any sexual content involving or depicting minors.
- Carry out illegal activity, or post instructions meant to help with serious wrongdoing.
- Make credible threats, harass people, abuse people for who they are, publish private information about others, stalk, or promote unlawful violence.
- Encourage self-harm or give practical instructions for causing serious harm.
- Infringe someone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Spread malware, phish, steal credentials, send spam, manipulate the platform or try to break into the Service or other accounts.
- Commit fraud, run deceptive commercial activity, or operate gambling.
- Post anything else that applicable law or a required provider's current rules forbid.
This list gives examples and is not complete. Keeping something private does not make prohibited content acceptable.
7. Child safety
We do not allow child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualization of children.
We use Cloudflare's CSAM Scanning Tool on public images delivered through our Cloudflare service. It checks them against databases of known abuse material. Anyone can also report a post, and a person reviews every report.
If material is detected or reported, we may hide it, remove it, restrict or close the account that posted it, and keep the relevant records. We may report it to the police or other relevant authorities and will cooperate with their lawful requests.
Automated detection is not perfect, and it does not cover everything. If you see content that may involve a child being harmed, please report it to us at support@danqna.com and to the authorities where you live.
8. Moderation and rewrites
We may use automated systems and authorized people to look for content that breaks these Terms. Automated systems make mistakes, so their results are treated as signals and not always as final decisions.
Where practical, content that triggers a check may be kept visible only to you while it is reviewed. We may ask you to rewrite text, replace an image, or ask for a review. Serious, repeated, unlawful or high-risk breaches may instead lead to removal, limits on sharing, suspension, preservation of records, or reports to authorities.
Anyone who can see a post may report it. A reported post is hidden from other people straight away while a moderator reviews the report, and it stays hidden until a moderator decides. If your post is hidden, you can see it under Settings and appeal once. A moderator will then look again and either restore it or keep it hidden. Reports about child safety or illegal content come first.
We may add, change or remove moderation tools as needs and provider rules change. When we decide what to do, we may consider context, severity, repetition, attempts to avoid controls, and risk to people or the Service.
9. Following the law
We comply with the laws and regulations that apply to us and to the Service, including those on child safety, content, data protection, and requests from courts and authorities, in the places where we operate and where our infrastructure providers and users are located.
Because of this, we may restrict, remove or disclose content, or limit or end access, where we reasonably believe the law or a lawful order requires it, even if the content would be allowed elsewhere. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you when you use the Service.
10. Sharing and comments
Sharing lets another account see only what you chose to share at the time. You can revoke it, but people may already have seen or saved what was shared while it was active.
Comments are available only where we have switched them on. Commenters must follow these Terms. Owners can turn comments off and hide or delete comments on their entries. We may rate-limit, restrict or remove comments to prevent abuse.
11. Fair use
The Service does not set a fixed number of characters or devices for ordinary personal use. That does not allow sharing credentials, reselling, bulk hosting unrelated to the project, denial-of-service attacks, avoiding limits, or anything that materially harms the Service or other users. Accounts also have storage and entry limits.
We may look into unusual use. We may contact you, apply technical limits, or suspend abusive activity.
12. Availability and changes
The Service is provided as available. Game updates, addon changes, outages at other providers and similar events can interrupt capturing, syncing, email or hosting. We may change the Service to keep it secure, lawful, compatible with providers and viable to run.
To the extent the law allows, the Service comes without warranties, and we are not liable for loss or damage arising from its use, except where the law does not allow us to exclude it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
13. Ending your use, and enforcement
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings. Deleting removes your content from our live systems straight away. Copies in encrypted backups are removed as those backups expire.
We may restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or our systems, comply with the law or a provider's requirements, apply fair-use limits, or investigate abuse. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a chance to correct the problem or appeal.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect where practical. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
15. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains what we collect, why, where it is stored, how long we keep it, and your choices.
